Jayci Lyn Bowden and Aaron Ward Page were married Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by The Reverend Margaret Watson. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Main Street Train Station.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lee Bowden of Roanoke. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Welch, formerly of Buchanan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Edge Bowden, formerly of Roanoke.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Junius Allison Page Jr. of Ashland, Virginia and Ms. Omega Donna Sue Blackburn of Danbury, North Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jean Blackburn, formerly of Yorktown, Virginia and Mr. and Mrs. Junius Allison Page Sr. of Newport News, Virginia.
Sabina Bunt Thaler served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Andrea Clark, Danielle Clark, Heather Clark, Mandy Horne, Brittany Kerfoot, Iris Page and Megan Runyon.
Bryan Clark served as best man. Groomsmen included Will Bertholf, Jeff Bowden, Ryan Hereth, Phil Hillier, Coles Jennings, Matt Klaman and Alex Mattera.
The bride is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in history. She is employed by M&E; Contractors as a project assistant in Richmond, Virginia
